FAQ
Questions our customers ask
Pulled from our Perth showroom team’s most-asked questions.
Are you an authorised Australian Umbra stockist?
Yes — Soko & Co has stocked the Umbra range for 8+ years. Every Umbra piece ships from our Perth warehouse with full Australian warranty support.
Where can I see Umbra products in person?
Every piece on this page lives on the floor at our Myaree, Karrinyup and Carousel WA showrooms. The Flapper coat rack is on permanent display — worth seeing in person for the build quality.
Is Umbra furniture-grade or lifestyle-grade?
Umbra’s flagship pieces (Flapper, Moona, Holster) are furniture-grade with lifetime builds. Their lifestyle pieces (Flex shower caddy, Estique hooks) are sub-$50 design-led objects with 2-5 year typical lifespans.
Umbra vs Joseph Joseph — what’s the difference?
Joseph Joseph is British and problem-solving-led — they invent new mechanisms (collapsing baskets, expanding dish racks). Umbra is Canadian and design-led — they make existing objects more beautiful. Both have lifetime warranty support; pick on whether you’re solving a problem or styling a room.
Do you ship Umbra Australia-wide?
Yes — free shipping on orders over $150 across Australia. Orders dispatch from our Myaree warehouse in 1–3 business days. See our shipping policy for full detail.
Can I order specific Umbra pieces not currently listed?
Yes — message our Perth team with the Umbra item code or product name and we’ll order in for you. Typical lead time is 2-4 weeks for non-stocked pieces.
