What is Elfa?
Elfa is a Swedish modular shelving system that has been in production for more than 60 years. Every part is epoxy powder-coated steel, designed in Sweden and made in Europe, and the whole system hangs from a single horizontal top track fixed to your wall.
Because the shelves, baskets and drawers clip into slotted vertical hang standards, nothing is fixed at one height. You can move a shelf, add a drawer or extend the run sideways at any point, which is why Elfa suits wardrobes, pantries, laundries, garages and home offices equally well.
What is included in this Elfa sale
This is a full-range Elfa sale. It covers White, Décor and Graphite — components and ready made solutions alike. That means the structural parts (top tracks, hang standards, brackets), the storage parts (wire shelves, mesh baskets, gliding drawers, clothes rods) and the accessories that finish a system off (dividers, easy gliders, hooks, book ends).
Ready made solutions are included in the sale, so you can receive a perfect system, with half the effort. Certain items may be excluded at our discretion — the full detail is in the sale terms.
How to plan an Elfa system in five steps
- Measure the wall, not the room. You need the width of the wall you are fitting, the floor-to-ceiling height, and the depth you can afford to lose. Note any skirting, cornice, power points or sloping ceilings.
- Pick your top track width. The top track spans the wall and takes the load. It comes in 45, 60, 90, 120 and 180cm — combine lengths for wider walls.
- Choose hang standard heights. Available from 99cm to 230cm. Taller standards give you more adjustable rows; shorter wall bands suit a single run above a bench.
- Set your bracket depth. 30cm suits pantries and laundries, 40cm is the wardrobe standard, and 50cm handles bulky garage storage. The bracket dictates the shelf depth.
- Fill it out. Add wire or melamine shelves, mesh baskets, gliding drawers, clothes rods and the accessories that keep it all tidy.

Can I return Elfa if I change my mind?
Elfa items are accepted for change of mind returns under our usual returns and exchanges terms. Refunds are issued for the price paid at the time of purchase, whether the return is made during or after the sale period. When will I get my order?
We endeavour to ship your Elfa order as quickly as possible. Dispatch times during the promotional periods can take 10-15 business days. From there, shipping can take up to 5 business days in metropolitan postcodes, and 10 business days in regional postcodes. You can read more here.

Yes, and it is free. Email your measurements and a few photos of the space and one of our Elfa specialists will send back a 3D design and a full parts list, with unlimited changes and no obligation to buy. Ventilated wire shelves allow airflow, which is why they are the standard choice in wardrobes and pantries, and they are lighter and cheaper. Click-in melamine shelves give you a solid, flat surface — better for small items that would tip through wire, and for a more built-in, finished look.
