How many bottles do I need to store?

Rule of thumb: count your current bottles and double it for growth headroom. Most wine-curious households end up at the Modularack 16 (#4) — it fits a typical 6-month rotation. Serious collectors should look at the 48-bottle heavy-duty (#2) or use stackable racks layered up.

Where in the house should I store wine?

Away from light, away from temperature swings, away from the kitchen if possible. A dark corner of a dining room, a hallway cupboard, or a dedicated cellar are best. The matte-black picks (#2, #5, #7, #8) blend into wall-shadow placements better than timber.

Do I need a custom-cut wine rack for my cellar?

For walk-in cellars and built-in wine rooms, often yes — use our custom wine rack builder to get a quote. For most home setups, our 10 ranked picks cover 95% of layouts.

Can I stack the wooden racks?

The Modularack (#4) and Vino Stack (#6) are designed to stack — build a 32-, 48- or 64-bottle cellar by layering. The Florence and Sorrento picks are freestanding only.

Will wall-mounted racks damage my plaster?

Properly installed into studs or masonry, no. Both wall picks (#7 and #8) ship with masonry plugs. Avoid plasterboard-only installs for wine racks — a 6-bottle full load weighs 8kg+ before bottles are added.
