How do I know which Wesco fits my sink cupboard?
Measure the internal width and depth of your sink cupboard. Match to: 30cm → 32L Double (#4); 40cm → 40L Double (#3) or 32L Single (#5); 60cm → 64L Double (#1) or 52L Double (#2). For shallow cupboards (under 50cm internal depth), use the 30L Short Double (#6).
Are these hard to install?
For a confident DIYer with a drill: 30-45 minutes. Gliders screw into the cupboard side; bin clips onto gliders; lid mechanism attaches to inside of cupboard door. We can recommend a Perth installer if you’d rather have it done (typical $120-150).
Wesco vs Brabantia pedal bins — which to pick?
Wesco for pull-out cabinet bins. Brabantia for freestanding pedal bins. Pick on whether you have cupboard space (Wesco) or floor space (Brabantia). Both German, both lifetime-warranted on housing.
Are bin liners specifically sized for Wesco?
Wesco bins fit standard kitchen bin liners (typically 30L for the 32L bins, 40L for the 40L bins, etc.). For perfect-fit liners, Brabantia’s "Perfect Fit" range is the closest match — we stock the full size range.
Can I retrofit a Wesco into an existing kitchen?
Yes, as long as the sink cupboard width matches one of the standard Wesco sizes (30/40/60cm). Most Australian kitchens built in the last 20 years have a 60cm sink cupboard, which fits the 64L Double (#1).
