Our 10 favourite spice racks, ranked

Spices are the single most-cluttered category in most pantries — a stack of jars in different sizes, hard to read, harder to grab. These ten racks fix that. Pair with our Top 10 Kitchen Storage Solutions for a wider pantry reset.

OUR METHODOLOGY

How we picked

Two decades of laundry retail — across Perth showrooms and an Australia-wide online store — shaped this list. Here’s the lens we used.

20+ years of laundry retail

We’ve sold laundry storage from our Perth showrooms since the early 2000s. Every pick here has survived years of in-store and online customer feedback.

Built to last beyond a season

We bias towards rust-resistant aluminium, stainless steel and powder-coated frames over cheap alternatives that need replacing every twelve months.

Verified by Aussie buyers

Every product here has live Judge.me reviews from real Soko & Co customers — not generic imports or paid Amazon placements.

Designed for your space

We rank across tight apartments, busy family homes and stylish living rooms — because one airer never fits every laundry.

FAQ

Questions our customers ask

Pulled straight from the inboxes and showroom conversations of our Perth team.

In-drawer vs wall-mounted — which suits my kitchen?

If you have an empty drawer and want spices hidden — go in-drawer (#4, #8). If you want spices visible and labelled for fast access during cooking — wall-mounted (#1, #2).

Do I need to use matched spice jars?

Strongly recommended. Most racks on this list have adjustable tier heights, but matched jars (same diameter and height) display far better and let you use the full rack capacity. Soko stocks matched spice-jar sets too.

Can I mount a wall rack inside a pantry door?

Yes — every wall-mounted pick on this list is designed to either mount externally or inside a pantry door. The 4-tier (#1) and Pepito (#2) are particularly suited to door-mounting because they’re shallow.

How does this list pair with kitchen storage?

Spice racks are usually step three of a kitchen reset. See our Top 10 Kitchen Storage Solutions for pantry shelves, drawer dividers, and the wider pantry rebuild.

Are these compatible with metric spice jars?

Yes — every rack on this list is sized for standard Australian spice jars (typically 60mm diameter, 110mm height). Some racks are adjustable for taller European-style jars.

Can I see these in person?

Yes — every pick is on display at our Myaree, Karrinyup and Carousel WA showrooms. The rotating bamboo (#7) and the pull-out Lava (#5) are particularly worth seeing in person for the mechanism.
