family-owned and operated in western australia

Soko & Co is a family-owned business that operates out of Western Australia. With two brick-and-mortar stores in Perth and an online store that services nationwide, our tiny but mighty team is filled with some of the greatest people you'll ever meet.

We've been the organisational experts for over 20 years, and our loyal clients, many of whom we now call close friends, come to us for our friendly team, knowledge and expertise, and the highest quality organisational range in Australia.

Fridge & Produce Containers

If you're sick of losing your fruit and veg to the bottom of your refrigerator drawers, finding food that's already passed the used-by dates, or finding out you've accidentally bought two of the same thing, you've come to the right place! The fridge is quick to become disorganised in the chaos of the week, but with the right containers, you can have your fridge looking Pinterest-perfect and organised.

Our extensive range of fridge containers come from some of the most renowned international brands that have been creating and optimising these containers for years to be the top of the range! Some brands we stock include iDesign and Felli.

Our collection includes pull-out trays and baskets for organising cans in the fridge, wine bottles, and kids' water bottles. We also have specialised containers for keeping fruit and veg fresh, and egg containers for the fridge (and yes, they do fit 14 eggs!).

What containers can be used for fridge storage?

The containers we offer for fridge storage were selected after a rigorous testing process. The selected containers are accurately sized to fit in most/nearly all fridges on the market. Material is also important. We have chosen high-quality acrylics for our containers that can withstand the cold temperatures of the fridge without cracking or wearing down. Most of our fridge containers are also dishwasher-safe, and for the ones that aren't, they can be cleaned with a quick soak in warm, soapy water!

Which fridge containers keep fruit and veg fresh?

Some containers in our collection are solely for organisation; these are, namely, the trays and pull-out baskets. They are great for organising packet items and tins/jars. Our lidded containers are designed for preserving the freshness of your produce. Containers like our iDesign 2 Compartment Fridge Drawer keep fruit and vegetables separated whilst partially restricting airflow. For those half-cut vegetables or ones that are prone to softening and spoiling quickly, our Fresh Keepers are the choice. Fresh Keepers use draining trays to keep moisture out and air vents to control air flow.

Which fridge containers keep fruit and veg fresh?

Airflow is imperative to maintaining freshness. For produce that needs to retain its moisture, vents should stay closed, and airflow should be restricted- these are your leafy greens and most vegetables. Fruit and vegetables that tend to ripen quickly, such as berries and apples, need to have their vents left open, and a little bit of airflow is beneficial. This is because of the high amounts of ethylene gas these fruits emit, which accelerates spoilage.

Maintaining a perfect seal and optimal airflow can be tricky with run-of-the-mill containers. Using the Felli Fresh Keepers integrated vents that can be opened and closed is the easy and efficient way to keep your fruit and veg fresh.
